Michael Edwin Harrison

Michael Edwin Harrison, 54, passed away April 1 at his residence. Graveside services will be held April 22 at the John L. Clark Memorial Cemetery. The family has chosen cremation. Anderson-Upper Cumberland Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

He was born May 24, 1962 in Davidson County. He was a painter for Meadows Painting.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Bruce Harrison and Nancy June Dudney; two sisters, Sandra Harrison Richardson and Peggy Anne Harrison.

Surviving relatives include one son, Dallas M. Harrison of Antioch; one daughter, Denesa Verble of Cookeville; two grandchildren.

 

Harold E. Kinnaird

Retired Manager

Harold E. Kinnaird, 66, passed away April 9 at Cookeville Regional Medical Center. Funeral services were held April 14 at Anderson-Upper Cumberland Funeral Home with Bro. Jimmy Anderson and Bro. Mike Dyer officiating. Interment followed aw Burris Cemetery. Anderson-Upper Cumberland Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

He was born June 12, 1950 in Putnam County. He was a retired produce department manager at Kroger. He was a member of the Willow Avenue Church of Christ.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Gilbert and Claudie Kinnaird; three brothers, Finnis, Glen, and James Wesley Kinnaird; five sisters, Geneva Ayers, Mary Young, Elfrida Farley, Inell Edwards, and Annie Louise Allen.

Surviving relatives include his wife, Donna R. Kinnaird of Cookeville; one son, Travis (Michelle) Fox of Sparta; three daughters, Laura Kinnaird (Johnnie) Grogan of Cookeville, Lora Kinnaird (Douglas) Hicks of Cookeville, and Shauna (Corey) Ledbetter of Spring Hill; nine grandchildren, Toni Carmack, Tori Carmack, Elizabeth Grogan, Allison Grogan, Tyler Fox, Alyssa Fox, Kyra Fox, Kaiden Ledbetter, and Kolton Ledbetter; one great grandchild, Eleanor Mowrey; three sisters, Kathy Knight, Irene Gore, and Thelma Ryan; one uncle, James Kinnaird; several nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.

Polly Ragland, 83, passed away April 12 at Cookeville Regional Medical Center. Funeral services were held April 15 at Anderson-Upper Cumberland Funeral Home with Bro. Mike Dyer officiating. Interment followed at Rob Draper Memorial Cemetery. Anderson-Upper Cumberland Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

She was born Aug. 6, 1933 in Jackson County. She was a homemaker and a member of the Sycamore Church of Christ.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Everett Cornwell and Jessie Moncrief; her husband, Tom Ragland; one sister, Patricia Thomas; one son-in-law, C.J. Medlin; special friend, Sookie Parker.

Surviving relatives include one son, James E. Ragland of Gainesboro; three daughters, Patty (Mike) Dyer, Judy Maynard, and Peggy Medlin, all of Cookeville; four grandchildren, Erin Ledbetter, Joshua Kimes, Daric Parks, and Justin Maynard; one great grandson, Hudson Ledbetter; one brother, Doug (Norma) Cornwell of Hendersonville; one sister, Linda Ramsey of Cookeville.
