Bertie A. Latimer, 91, of Livingston passed away Nov. 13 at the Overton County Nursing Home. Funeral services were held Nov. 17 at the chapel of Speck Funeral Home with Bro. Jerry Harris officiating. Interment followed in the Fellowship Cemetery.

Pallbearers were: Bobby Richardson, Larry Adams, Bill Linder and Keith Linder.

Bertie A. Latimer was born Aug. 1, 1920 in Overton County. She w as a restaurant waitress and a member of the Livingston Church of Christ.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Millard and Nora Bell Pryor Richardson; husbands, Earl Paul Adams and Ivan Latimer; brothers, Hassel I. Richardson and Clure Richardson; and sisters, Hassie Garrett, Deanie Lambert and Ethel Loften.

Surviving relatives include: her son, H.C. Adams of Livingston; brothers, Millard Clovis “Duck” Richardson and Herbert T. Richardson both of Detroit, MI; and sister, Alyne Harcourt of Detroit, MI.

Robert J. Langford
Truck Driver

Robert J. Langford, 81, of Livingston passed away Nov. 14 at Livingston Regional Hospital. Funeral services were held Nov. 17 at the chapel of Speck Funeral Home with Bro. Alan Judd officiating. Interment followed in the St. John Cemetery.

Pallbearers were: Allen Baltimore, Lynn Burnett, Donald Fleming, Rick Reeder, Jerry Shaw and Bro. Alan Judd.

Robert J. Langford was born June 21, 1930 in Overton County. He was a truck driver for D&C Manufacturing, member of Allons Church of Christ and a veteran of the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Harlan and Delma Ramsey Langford; and three infant children.

Surviving relatives include: his wife, Juanita Langford of Livingston; son, Danny Langford of Livingston; and sisters, Betty Jo Page, Nashville, Jean Tayse of Ohio and Judy Davies of Franklin.

Julene Allen
Homemaker

Julene Allen, 82, of Hilham passed away Nov. 13 at the Overton County Nursing Home. Funeral services were held Nov. 15 at the chapel of Speck Funeral Home with Bro. Phillip Morgan and Bro. Mike Ayers officiating. Interment followed in the Allens Chapel Cemetery.

Pallbearers were: Charles Geesling, Brandon Geesling, Larry Geesling and Bob Conn.

Julene Allen was born Aug. 23, 1929 in Jackson County. She was a homemaker and attended New Hope Community Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Eskew and Julie Buck Wright; husband, Haskell Allen; and brother, Estel B. Wright.

Surviving relatives include: her brother, Eston C. and wife Frances Wright of Maryland; sister-in-law, Emogene Wright of the Hardys Chapel Community; nieces, Marcene Bowers of Gaston, AL and Darlene Davenport of Daytona, FL; nephew, Wylie Wright of Maryland; and great-nephews, Ethan Wright of Maryland and Brandon Davenport of Cookeville.

David Pardue

David Pardue, 45, of Livingston passed away Nov. 13 at his residence. Funeral services were held Nov. 15 at the chapel of Hall Funeral Home in Livingston with Bro. Barry Boggs officiating. Interment followed in the Pardue Beechboard Cemetery.

Pallbearers were: Steve Miller, Roger Linder, Jeff Petry, David Petry, Jacob Gilpatrick and Warren Shindler.

David Pardue was born March 10, 1966 in Livingston.

He was preceded in death by his father, Donald Pardue; and brother-in-law, William Beechboard.

Surviving relatives include: his wife, Malena Beechboard Pardue of Livingston; son, Kasey Pardue of Livingston; mother, Beulah Pardue of Livingston; sisters, Debbie and husband Jessie Beechboard of Livingston and Donna and husband Stacey Daniels of Sparta; brother, Danny and wife Dee Pardue of Livingston; sister-in-law, Angela Beechboard of Livingston; and several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.

Mike Abston
Carpenter

Mike Abston, 52, of Livingston passed away Nov. 19 at Livingston Regional Hospital. Funeral services were held Nov. 22 at the chapel of Goff Funeral Home with Rev. Arnold Murphy officiating. Interment followed in the Phillips Cemetery of the Anderson Community.

Mike Abston was born May 5, 1959 in Jamestown. He was a carpenter and attended the Church of God.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Woodrow and Rozell Threet Abston; sisters, Patsy Sells and Kathy Abston; and brothers, David and Victory Ray Abston.

Surviving relatives include: his wife, Joann Vaughn Abston of Livingston; daughters, Tara Howard of Cookeville and Susan Bowers of Clarksville; sons, Joey Bull of Algood and Jammy Bull of Nashville; five grandchildren; sisters, Linda Smith of Twinton, Brenda Vaughn, Marilyn Lane and Lisa Cravens all of Cravenstown; and brothers, Ronnie Abston of Twinton, Elmer Abston and Adam Abston both of Livingston, Joe Abston of Hanging Limb and Gary Abston of Cravenstown.
