Leva Hammons, 94, of Monterey passed away on Feb. 9 at the Standing Stone Care and Rehabilitation Center. Funeral services were held on Feb. 12 at Goff Funeral Home with Rev. Kevin Phillips officiating. Interment followed at the Welch Memorial Cemetery.
Leva Hammons was born on Dec. 23, 1917 in Overton County. She was a homemaker who loved gardening and a lifetime quilter.
She is preceded in death by: her parents, Cortes and Cora Looper Norrod; husband, Albert Escoe Hammons; son, James Hammons; grandson, Michael Bowman; brother, A.C. Norrod; and sister, Shirley Norrod.
Surviving relatives include: her daughter, Billie Bowman of Dayton, OH; son, Frank Hammons of Dayton, OH; grandchildren, Jeff Bowman, Lisa Tipton, Kimberley Kessler and Terri Lynn Sharrock; great-grandchildren, Brian, Jessie and Allen Tipton; Zachary, Aimee and Mikyle Kessler; and Ally and Corey Sharrock; sister, Deane Harris of Monterey; daughter-in-law, Betty Hammons of Clarkrange; and sister-in-law, Oma Lee Norrod of Hanging Limb.
David Glen Seber
David Glen Seber, 17, of Allons passed away at his home on Feb. 10. Funeral services were held on Feb. 13 at Allons Baptist Church with Bro. Sam Gamble officiating. Interment followed at the Old Bethel Cemetery in Monroe. Hall Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
Pallbearers included Roy Seber, Steve Seber, Richard Seber, Danny Reagan, Jr. and David Melton.
David Glen Seber was born on April 3, 1994 in Lagrange, IN to Adam and Tessa Seber of Allons.
Survivors include: his parents; sisters, Elizabeth Seber and Cynthia Seber; brothers, Dylan Seber and Tanner Reagan; grandfather, Danny Ray Reagan; grandmother, Marsha Melton and husband Robert; great-grandparents, Norman and Betty Mossey and Nellie Neely; and a host of aunts, uncles, family and friends.
Lannie E. Langford
Lannie E. Langford, 94, of Livingston passed away at the Livingston Regional Hospital on Jan. 21. Funeral services were held on Jan. 24 at the chapel of Hall Funeral Home with Bro. Jeff Short officiating. Interment followed at the Holly Springs Cemetery.
Pallbearers included, Danny Barlow, Randy Bilyue, Charlie Deck, David Abbott, Brian DeFrance and Justin Langford.

He is preceded in death by: his parents, Rufus Hillary and Sally Swift Langford; wives, Neil Sevier Langford, Buelah White and Willie Davidson; daughter, Lana Daniels; granddaughter, Sabrina Daniels; brothers, Waymon, Elmer, Rufus and Bluford Langford; sisters, Nettie Little, Daisey Glascock, Alpha Wilmoth and Randy Asquith.
Surviving relatives include: daughters, Pat and husband Jerry Taylor and Helen and husband Arthur Harris both of Johnson City; sons, Eddie and wife Sharon of Jonesboro and Larry and wife Angela of Hilham; grandchildren, Lorie Case, Lisa Wilson, Jonathan Daniels, Denise Dubin, Jessica Abbott and Justin Langford; and great-grandchildren, Britany Case, Miranda Case, Justin Dubin, Jessica Dubin, Bryson Abbott, and Kaylea Abbott.
