Mary Susan “Susie” Dillehay Jordon Coleman

Mary Susan “Susie” Dillehay Jordon Coleman, 82, of Lebanon and formerly of Red Boiling Springs passed away Feb. 4 in Lebanon. Funeral services were held Feb. 7 from the chapel of Sellars Funeral Home with Rev. Sandra Potts officiating. Interment followed in the Wilson County Memorial Gardens.

Pallbearers included: her grandsons and nephews.

Mary Susan “Susie” Dillehay Jordon Coleman was born June 12, 1929 in Red Boiling Springs.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Edward and Bertie Collins Dillehay; husband, Bernie Lee Jordon; sisters, Mamie and Cassie Dillehay and Flora Verela; brothers, Connie, Sam B., Clarance, John Willard and Frank Dillehay; two nieces and one nephew.

Surviving relatives include: husband, Russell Coleman; daughters, Kay and husband W.C. Dodd, Letitia and husband John Burke, Brenda Collins and Sharon and husband Danny Norris; son, Russell Coleman, Jr.; 13 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; two great great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Beulah Allonia Isenberg Comer

Retired

Beulah Allonia Isenberg Comer, 95, of Gamaliel passed away Feb. 17 at the Barren County Health Care Center. Funeral services were held Feb. 20 from the chapel of Strode Funeral Home with Randall McPherson officiating. Interment followed in the Isenberg Cemetery.

Pallbearers included: Bruce Isenberg, Dashiell Isenberg, Odell Isenberg, Voris Comer, Larry Comer and Charles Comer.

Beulah Allonia Isenberg Comer was born Jan. 8, 1917 in Monroe County, KY. She was a retired factory worker for Key Work Clothes and a member of the Freewill Church of Christ.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Buford Isenberg and Sally Proffitt Isenberg; husband, Walter Lester Comer; brothers, Orville and Julius Isenberg; sisters, Lula Bell Ford, Lama Comer, Eula Comer and Thelma Hinson; son-in-law, Fay Hunt; and granddaughter, Sheila Comer.

Surviving relatives include: sons, Wallace and wife Pat Comer of Tompkinsville, KY, Darrell and wife Joe Nell Comer of Parrish, FL, Roy Payton and wife Jo Ann Comer of Red Boiling Springs and Wilbur and wife Betty Comer of Gamaliel, KY; daughter, Loretta Hunt of Glasgow, KY; grandchildren, Jared, Jeff, Kevin, Shane, David, Susan and Jennifer Comer, Randy and Darren Clarkson; 19 great grandchildren; and three step great grandchildren.

John Arthur Moore

Retired

John Arthur Moore, 62, of Moss passed away Feb. 11 at his residence. Memorial services were held Feb. 18 from the Pine Hill Church of Christ with Dale Strong officiating. Interment followed in the Denton-Eads Cemetery. Upton Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.

John Arthur Moore was born Aug. 15, 1949 in Long Beach, CA He spent six years in the United States Marine Corp being honorably discharged in 1972. He was retired from construction work.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Cancil and Joyce Sersen Moore.

Surviving relatives include: son, Daniel Moore of Clinton, OK; Hallie and husband Patrick James of Hesperia, CA; brothers, David Moore of Pompano Beach, FL and Michael Moore of Moss.

Robert Bob Leroy McLearren

Retired

Robert Bob Leroy McLearren, 66, of Celina passed away Feb. 15 at Cumberland River Hospital. Funeral services were held Feb. 19 from the chapel of Upton Funeral Home with Bill Threet officiating. Interment followed in the McColgan Cemetery.

Pallbearers included: Jerry Cummins, Danny Vehyner, Jim Nash, John Sadler, James Setvin and Ron Rice.

Robert Bob Leroy McLearren was born April 30, 1945 in Elwood, IN. He was retired from Merrita Bread Co. as a route driver and a veteran of the United States Air Force.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Bedford and Della Crouch McLearren; second wife, April McLearren.

Surviving relatives include: wife, Janet Robinson McLearren of Celina; sons, Robert McLearren of Odgen, IL and Charlie McLearren of Sanford, FL; daughters, Christina Kiefling of Odgen, IL and Kelly Hinman of Harrisburg, PA; brothers, Jim Nash of Sharpsville, IN, Ron Rice of Cookeville and Danny Zehner of Kokomo, IN; sister, Nancy Rainy of Holly Hill, FL; first wife, Judy, mother of Rob and Christina; seven grandchildren.

Linda Mae Lee

Sewing Machine Operator

Linda Mae Lee, 64, of Red Boiling Springs passed away Feb. 13 at Sumner Regional Medical Center. Funeral services were held Feb. 16 from the chapel of Hall Funeral Home with Bro. Billy Traughber and Sister Dot Traughber officiating. Interment followed in the Mt. Vernon Cemetery.

Pallbearers included: Dewayne Hatcher, Lucas Hatcher, Tony Jenkins, Sunny Silk, Daniel Hatcher and Gaven Silk.

Honorary pallbearers included: Donald Davis, Zack Lee, Chris Davis, Kaleb Sweezy and Gunner Silk.

Linda Mae Lee was born Dec. 27, 1947 in Clay County. She was a sewing machine operator and a member of the Bethel Family Worship Pentecostal Church.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Isabelle Hatcher.

Surviving relatives include: husband, Kenneth Lee of Red Boiling Springs; brothers, Orville and wife Frances Hatcher of Moss and Ricky and wife Liz Hatcher of Union Hill; many nieces and nephews; and many great nieces and nephews.

Freda Halsell Pate

Freda Halsell Pate, 69, of Lebanon and formerly of Red Boiling Springs passed away Feb. 20 at University Medical Center. Funeral services were held Feb. 22 from the chapel of Anderson and Son Funeral Home with Elder Floyd Ferguson officiating. Interment followed in the Smith Chapel Cemetery.

Pallbearers included: Chad Guffey, Kevin Ferguson, John Zalewski, Jacob Zalewski, Ben Zalewski and Nick Zalewski.

Freda Halsell Pate was born Oct. 2, 1942. She was a teacher in the Macon County School System from 1965-1966, served as the Executive Director of the Cordell Hull Economic Opportunity Corporation and was later a former Deputy Director of the Upper Cumberland Development District and a member of the Smith Chapel United Methodist Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Nemo and Pauline Gregory Halsell.

Surviving relatives include: husband Maynard Pate; daughters, Charla and husband John Zalewski and Leslie Palk all of Cookeville; son, Greg Biles of Lebanon; granddaughter, Holly Palk; grandsons, Jacob, Nick and Ben Zalewski; brother, Fred and wife Martha Halsell of Sneads Ferry, NC.
