Amanda Louise Foster, 30, of Celina passed away on Feb. 25 at Livingston Regional Hospital. Funeral services were held on Feb. 29 at Hall Funeral Home in Celina with Bro. John Copeland officiating. Interment followed in the Turkeytown Cemetery.

Amanda Louise Foster was born on March 14, 1981 in New Port Richey, FL. She was a homemaker, a farmer and a member of the Grace Baptist Church in Alpine.

Surviving relatives include: her parents, Eddie and Lynn Lopez of Hilham and Douglas Scott and Catherine Snell of Celina; daughter, Tatum Foster; son Aidan Foster; paternal grandparents, Edward and Martha Lopez of Maxwell, NM and Lee and Harley Rettig of Celina; sister, Meagan Howard of Elmgrove, TN; brothers, Daniel Snell and wife Tracy of Gainesboro, Justin Lopez and wife Cassondra of Celina, Hunter Lopez of Hilham and Carter Lopez of Hilham; maternal uncle and godfather, Ken and Dorothy Rettig of Gastonia, NC; beloved aunts, JoAnn Bledsoe of Livingston, Carol Rettig of Bessemer City, NC, Cora Meschen and husband Jeff of Chess City, FL and Theresa Cruz and husband LeRoy of Shallowater, TX; nephews and nieces, Conyr Duncan, Evan, Logan, James, Cody, Shane, Rashelle, Gorge, Alyssa, Raina and Fallon; numerous cousins and friends including Laura Dixon, Randy Bledsoe, Tiffany Bledsoe, Kevin Glasscock, Lori Richardson, David Hodge, Brian and Kaylonie Pennington; friends, Diana Bartlett, Sharon Evins, Linda McLerran, Diana Collins, Ran Carter, Terri and Ray Buck, Jay Hooten, Jason and Stephanie Sparks, Marsha Hix and family, Suzie Beason, Angela Key and family; and life friend, Mouse Dailey.

Pauline Brown

Retired

Pauline Brown, 89, of Cookeville passed away on March 6 at Riverview Regional Medical Center in Carthage. Funeral services were held on March 9 at Hooper-Huddleston and Horner Funeral Home. Interment followed in Crest Lawn Cemetery with Rev. Larry Gregory officiating.

Pauline Brown was born on May 16, 1922 in Jackson County. She was retired from the GTE Telephone Company in Cookeville.

She is preceded in death by: her parents, Benton McMillan and Dora Mae Carter Halfacre; son, Glenn C. Brown; and brother, Everett ‘Ebb’ Halfacre.

Surviving relatives include: her daughters, Judi Carney of Baxter and Joan Little and husband Sam of Gallatin; grandchildren, Yogi Carney, Lisa Cunningham, Jeff Carney, Xavian Brown, Kristin Miller and Emily Brown; great-grandchild, Jenny Carney; sisters Faye Moore and husband Charlie of Lexington, KY and Gerry Anderson; and brother, Lloyd Halfacre and wife Sue all of Granville.

Martha Celia (Bilbrey) Selby

Martha Celia (Bilbrey) Selby, 87, of Livingston passed away on Feb. 29 at the Cookeville Regional Medical Center. Funeral services were held on March 4 at Livingston Funeral Home with Bro. Greg Canada officiating. Interment followed in the Zion Hill Cemetery.

Martha Celia (Bilbrey) Selby was born on Oct. 25, 1924 in Overton County. She was a homemaker and cook for the Overton County Sheriff’s Department.

She is preceded in death by: her parents, Gaither and Elvia (Gaw) Bilbrey, husband, B.W. Selby; sisters, Pansy Mae Bilbrey and Mary Lou Brown; and brothers, Huston, Arnold Simon, Amos N. Bilbrey and Albert Riddle Bilbrey.

Surviving relatives include: nephews, Mark and Ricky Bilbrey of Livingston; and cousins and other family members and friends.

Willeane Jeanette Ferrell

Willeane Jeanette Ferrell, 79, of Allons passed away on March 6 at the Overton County Nursing Home. Funeral services were held on March 8 at Speck Funeral Home with Chaplain Chuck Overton officiating. Interment followed in Richardson Cemetery in Monroe.

Pallbearers included: Donnie, Matthew and Billy Richardson, Cecil Myers Jr., Marcus Whitt and Butch Price.

Willeane Jeanette Ferrell was born on April 7, 1932 in Walker County, AL. She was a convenience store cashier.

She is preceded in death by: her parents, Sanford D. and Rena E. Walker Hopper; grandson, Cory Dean Gillespie, great-granddaughter, Sarah Lynn Caldwell, brothers, Rayford, Bill, Danny and Lewis Hopper; and sister, Naydean Young.

Surviving relatives include: her husband, Charlie E. Ferrell of Allons; son, Charles Ferrell of Silver Springs, FL; daughters, Linda Whitt and husband Marcus of Smyrna and Kathy Price and husband Butch of Hilham; sister, Christine Flesher of Homosassa, FL; seven grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.
