Debbie Marie (Carr) Bilbrey

Debbie Marie (Carr) Bilbrey, 56, of Livingston passed away April 20 at her home. Funeral services were held on April 23 at Livingston Funeral Home with Bro. Mark Loftis and Bro. Jeff Short officiating. Interment followed in Cater Bilbrey Cemetery.

Pallbearers included: Ben Case, Tyer Case, Cody Penticuff, Kevin Carr, Russell Hastings, Jeff Hammock and Curtis Hayes.

Debbie Marie (Carr) Bilbrey was born on July 4, 1955 in Pineville, KY. She was a caregiver and was affiliated with the Church of Christ.

She is preceded in death by: her parents, Charles Sr. and Mary Carr; husband, James Howard Bilbrey; son, Jamie Wayne Bilbrey; and brother, Charles Edward Carr Jr.

Surviving relatives include: her sisters, Charlene Case and husband Tom of Hendersonville; Linda Jackson and husband Denny of Rickman; Amy Remondelli and husband Rick of Dacula, GA; Teresa Penticuff and husband Randall of Livingston; May Arrington and husband Jeff of Decatur, AL; and Darlene Carr of Monroe; brothers, Marvin Carr and wife Loretta of Double Springs, AL; Andy Byrd of Kingsport; Bobby Carr of Livingston; and Jimmy Carr Johnson of New York; aunt, Lela Ogletree of Livingston; and nieces, nephews, and other family members and friends.

Ina Watson

Ina Watson, 91, of Vine Ridge Community of Overton County passed away on April 25 at the Standing Stone Care and Rehabilitation Center. Funeral services were held on April 28 with Rev. Michael Swallows officiating. Interment followed in the Welch Memorial Cemetery.

Ina Watson was born on Feb. 7, 1921 in Cravenstown, TN. She was a homemaker and a member of the Welcome Missionary Baptist Church in Sandy, TN.

She is preceded in death by: her parents, Marion Ridley and Emma Ellen Ramsey Robbins; husband, Marvin Luke (Toot) Watson; granddaughter, Mary Ellen Smith; infant grandsons, Charlie and Danny Hill; great-grandson, Jamie Cooper; sons-in-law, Floyd Hill and Pete Hill; sisters, Lassie Sells and Parsada Boles; and brothers, Malcom, Curt, Carvel and Willie Robbins.

Surviving relatives include: her daughters, Ellen “Wootsie” Hill of Livingston and Sue Hill and husband Charles of Highland Community; son, Buddy Watson and wife Charlotte of the Vine Ridge Community; 11 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and seven great-great-grandchildren.

Della Jean Norrod

Della Jean Norrod, 76, of Hanging Limb passed away April 27 at The Standing Stone Care and Rehabilitation Center. Funeral services were held on May 1 at Goff Funeral Home with Rev. Gerald Phillips officiating. Interment followed in the F.A. Norrod Cemetary.

Della Jean Norrod was born on February 19, 1936 in Overton County. She was a homemaker and a member of Hanging Limb Freewill Baptist Church in Hanging Limb.

She is preceded in death by: her parents, Lloyd and Velva Bilbrey Padgett; husband, Roger Norrod; infant daughter Rebecca Jean Norrod; son, Johnny Norrod; grandson, Benjamin Norrod; sister, Lorene Leming; and brother Lloyd Padgett.

Surviving relatives include: her daughters, Charlotte and Buddy Watson of the Vine Ridge Community; Janet and Roger Miller of the Hanging Limb Community; Elaine and Tony Helm of Wolf Creek Community; and Anita and John Phillips of the Hanging Limb Community; son, Joel and Holly Norrod of the Hanging Limb Community; grandchildren, Collins Miller, Heather Bowman, Shannon Watson, Casey Mullinix, Lisa Watson; Lora Cravens, Melissa Phillips, Justin Stockton, Luke Phillips, Joseph Phillips, Pagie, Katie and Clay Norrod; sisters, Ann Carr of Plantation, FL; Wanda and A.C. McCowan of Monterey; Chris and Wayne Lewis of Smithville; brother, Bernard and Valerie Padgett of Clarkrange; and 13 great-grandchildren. 

Milburn Edward Taylor

Milburn Edward Taylor, 84, of the Heard Ridge Community passed away on April 29 at the Overton County Nursing Home. Funeral services were held on May 1 at Speck Funeral Home with Bro. Wayne Taylor officiating. Interment followed in the Old Bethal Cemetery.

Pallbearers include: Joe Lee Thrasher, Jeffery Cummings, Jonathan Cummings, Christian Brown, Jeff Reagan, and Bobby Reagan.

Milburn Edward Taylor was born March 26, 1928 in Overton County. He worked for a sawmill that made boxes for Ford Motor Co. and was a member of the Antioch Church of Christ.

He is preceded in death by: his parents, George Edward and Maggie Angeline Conner Taylor; infant daughter, Willie Dean Taylor; sisters, Gladys Smith, Melissa Taylor, Ezell Reagan, Myrtle Reagan and Polly Reagan.

Surviving relatives include: his wife, Janetta Smith Taylor of the Heard Ridge Community; sons, Larry and Anne Taylor of Mt. Juliet, Steve and Suzy Taylor of Cookeville, Allen and Felicia Taylor of Smithville; daughters, Debbie and Steve Kaeser of Memphis, and Kathy and Jeff Young of Allons; and 14 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
