Lavonna Deck, 53, of Livingston passed away on April 24 at the Erlanger Medical Center. Funeral services will be held on April 29 at Hall Funeral Home with Bro. Tifford Gunnels Sr. officiating. The family has chosen cremation and there will be no graveside services.
Lavonna Deck was born Feb. 6, 1959 in Livingston.
She is preceded in death by: her parents, Carlis and Onsby Langford Pardue; and many other aunts and uncles.
Surviving relatives include: her husband, Charlie Deck; son, Christopher and wife, Angel Morrison; daughter, Rebecca and husband, T.J. Gunnels; grandchildren, Virginia Miller, Joseph Morrison, Elijah Miller, Austin Miller, Gabriel Morrison, Rhiannon Morrison, Tifford Lee Gunnels III, Dakota Gage Gunnels, Hunter Matthew Gunnels, Destiny Autumn Gunnels and Kyra Grace Gunnels; and several other family members and friends.
Kenneth Hicks, 55, of Livingston passed away on April 26 at the Livingston Regional Hospital. Funeral services will be held on April 30 at Hall Funeral Home with Bro. Eddie Way officiating. The family has chosen cremation and there will be no graveside services.
Kenneth Hicks was born April 12, 1957 in Detroit, MI.
He is preceded in death by: his parents, Kenneth and Jackie Nell Meadows Hicks.

Nelly Elise Cox, 60, of Rickman passed away on May 5 at the Livingston Regional Hospital. Graveside services were held on May 8 at Wright Chapel Cemetery with Rev. Robert Wright officiating.
Pallbearers were: T. J. Bowman, Steven Walker, Richard Cooper, Bobby Cox, Charles Ball and Mike Warden.
Nelly Elise Cox was born June 20, 1951 in Jamestown. She was a garment factory worker.
She is preceded in death by: her parents, Willie and Katherine Warden King; and husband Horace Cox.

Dorene Fikes Carr, 71, of Livingston passed away on May 4 at Cookeville Regional Hospital. Funeral services will be held on May 7 at the chapel of Speck Funeral Home wit Rev. Ken Haney officiating. Interment will follow in the Copeland-Carr Cemetery.
Pallbearers were: Chip Ragsdale, Billy Brown, David Dickerson, Gary Langford, Leon Fletcher, Steve Holt and Brent Johnson.
Dorene Fikes Carr was born March 29, 1941 in Clay County. She was a homemaker as well as a wonderful Christian lady, mother and wife.
She is preceded in death by: her parents, Robert Malcolm and Versie N. Holt Fikes; brother, Earl Fikes; and sister-in-law, Pauline Fikes.
Surviving relatives include: her husband, Leroy Carr; daughters, Lee and husband Billy Brown of Livingston and Tammie and husband Chip Ragsdale of Livingston; granddaughter, Amanda and husband Matt Prentice of Whitehouse; sister, Barbara Brown of Nashville; sisters-in-law and brother-in-law, Maxine Carr, Clara Dean Vance and Earl and wife Agnes Carr; and several nieces, nephews and special cousins.
Anna Barker, 87, of Hanging Limb passed away on May 5 at Cookeville Regional Medical Center. Funeral services will be held on May 7 at the chapel of Goff Funeral Home with Rev. Johnny Bowman officiating. Interment followed in F. A. Norrod Cemetery.
She was born Aug. 15, 1924 in Overton County. She was a member of the Hanging Limb Missionary Baptist Church. She worked with Kellogg Community Church in Battle Creek, MI, Michigan National Bank, former Director of the Hanging Limb Senior Citizens and an UCHRA Carts Driver.
She is preceded in death by: her parents, Elbert and Effie Bowman Norrod; husband, Bill Barker; granddaughter, Elizabeth Barker; great-grandson, Brandon Wesley Boardman; sister, Naomi Norrod; and brothers, Roger and Ralph Norrod.
Surviving relatives include: her daughters, Carolyn Boardman of Monterey and Linda Reed of Hanging Limb; son and daughter-in-law, William and Charlotte Barker of Mabank, TX; sister and brother-in-law, Alice and Doug Reed of Hanging Limb; brothers and sisters-in-law, Ray and Willene Norrod of Hanging Limb and Richard and Edith Norrod of Livingston; five grandchildren and nine greatgrandchildren.
