Margaret E. Pigg (Peggy)
Margaret E. Pigg (Peggy), 66, passed away June 17 at the Miami Valley Hospital. Funeral services were held June 20 at the Fairview Methodist Church.
Margaret E. Pigg (Peggy) was born Dec. 14, 1945 in Dayton, OH. She was a selfless wife, mom, grandma, sister and friend. She retired from McCall’s where she worked as a binder. She enjoyed bingo, fishing, camping and other outdoor activities. More than anything, she loved her family and doing whatever the family enjoyed, putting them first in everything. She will also be lovingly remembered as a great host and cook.
She was preceded in death by her parents, William Pearlie Dillon and Mary Louise Smith; son, Shawn Lee; and brother, William “Bill” Dillon.
Surviving relatives include her husband, Herbert Willard “Herb” Sr. of Bellbrook; son, Herbert Willard “Herb” Jr. of Bellbrook; daughters, Tonya Toht and husband Mike of Bellbrook, Julia Beck and husband Bill of Gainesboro and Jenny Mahan (Phillip) of Cookeville; grandchildren, Shawn, Candice, Tiffany, Robert, Brittani, Taylor, Caleb and Jenna; brother, Steve Dillon and wife Eunice of Dayton, OH; and sisters, Diane Brummitt of Franklin, Mary Williams and husband Ronnie of New Lebanon and Marilyn Swim and husband Jerry of Kettering.
