Michael Shane Hammock, 38, passed away Dec. 1 at Cumberland River Hospital in Celina. Funeral services have not been made at this time and final disposition will be cremation.
Michael Shane Hammock was born July 2, 1974 in Livingston. He was a factory worker.
He was preceded in death by his mother Cissy Edna Beechboard Hammock.
Surviving relatives include his father Jackie Hammock; sister Rebecca Sue Stacy; and friend Elaine Baer.
P.J. “Pete” Stafford
P.J. “Pete” Stafford, 80, passed away Dec. 1 at Sumner Regional Medical Center in Gallatin. Graveside services were held Dec. 3 at Pharris Cemetery with Bro. Jimmy Anderson officiating.
P.J. “Pete” Stafford was born Nov. 16, 1932 in Jackson County. He was a security guard and a member of the Church of Christ.
He was preceded in death by his parents Van Stafford and Ethel Stafford; son Timmy Lee Stafford; and sister Jean Ashley.
Surviving relatives include his wife Brenda Stafford; daughter Lisa and husband Andy Alderidge; grandchild Katelyn Alderidge; brothers Freeman Stafford of Gainesboro, Woody Stafford of Antioch and Ronnie Stafford of Joelton; and sisters Rhoda Williams of Pleasant View and Lucille Stanley of Joelton.
Betty Catherine (Sadler) McCoin
Betty Catherine (Sadler) McCoin, 83, passed away Nov. 22 in Garden City, MI. Betty chose cremation and was laid to rest with her husband in Livonia, MI. Arrangements were made by Harry J. Will Funeral Home in Wayne, MI.
Betty Catherine (Sadler) McCoin was a first grade and kindergarten teacher for many years.
She was preceded in death by her parents John and Clifford Cassetty Sadler; her brothers Ben Sadler and Henry Sadler; and her sister Carol Shealy.
Surviving relatives include her daughter Angelia Sumrall; sons Richard McCoin and Rex McCoin; 10 grandchildren; four great grandchildren; and many cousins, nieces and nephews.
Robert Edmond Bennett
Robert Edmond Bennett, 52, passed away on Dec. 3, at Cookeville Regional Hospital. No services were planned due to the family choosing cremation. Arrangements were made through the Jackson County Funeral Home.
Surviving relatives include his wife Lorraine Bennett; son Eric Priester; daughters Sherry Richter and Jennifer Priester; and brother Donald Bennett.
