Billy P. Stafford, 77, passed away on Jan. 24 at his residence in Gainesboro. Funeral services were held Feb. 2 at Anderson-Upper Cumberland Funeral Home with Bro. Jimmy Anderson, Bro. Bill Dudney and Karen Vanhooser officiating. The family chose cremation.

Billy P. Stafford was born May 1, 1935 in Jackson County. He was a retired machinist in the marine industry.

He was preceded in death by his parents Comer E. Stafford and Earsie Patterson Stafford; and brothers Comer Stafford Jr. and Joe Stafford.

Surviving relatives include his wife Betty Sue Harris Stafford; son Dennis H. and wife Stella Stafford of Gainesboro; daughters Diane Ledbetter and husband Steve Smith and Donna Stafford and husband Milan Zec all of Cookeville; brothers John Landon and wife Doris Stafford and Jimmy Lloyd and wife Katherine Stafford all of Cookeville; grandchildren Josh Ledbetter, Andy and wife Becky Stafford, Nick Ledbetter and Michelle Stafford and husband Jeremy Flynt; and great grandchildren Spencer Stafford, Piper Stafford, Cajun Ledbetter and Jorja Flynt.

Danny R. Dube

Danny R. Dube, 51, passed away Jan. 25 at Mabry Health Care Center in Gainesboro. Funeral services were held Jan. 28 at Anderson-Upper Cumberland Funeral Home with Bro. Rod Sawyer officiating. Interment followed at Rash Cemetery.

Danny R. Dube was born Sept. 22, 1961 in Chattanooga.

Surviving relatives include son Ryan Dube of Rossville, GA; parents Ernest and Mae Dube of Gainesboro; sisters Belinda Young of Goodlettsville and Dianna Mooneyham of Shelbyville; and several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Eston William Stacy

Furniture Factory Employee

Eston William Stacy, 78, passed away on Jan. 25 at Livingston Regional Hospital in Livingston. Funeral services were held Jan. 28 at Anderson-Upper Cumberland Funeral Home with Rev. Ulis Hammock officiating. Interment followed at Family Circle Cemetery.

Eston William Stacy was born July 4, 1934 in Jackson County. He was a furniture factory employee and a member of the Old Antioch Community Church. He enjoyed gardening, hunting and wrestling.

He was preceded in death by his parents Pascal “Pat” Smith and Ellie Stacy Smith;  sister Janie Lou Tidwell Manire; and grandson Anthony Guy.

Surviving relatives include his wife Joan Stacy of Hilham; sons Mark and wife Sharon Guy of Gainesboro; James and wife Sherry Stacy and Danny Stacy; daughter Pamela Sue Stafford of Troy, VA; sister Brenda and husband Myrl Harris Key of Rickman; eight grandchildren; two great grandchildren; special friend Earl Cox of Gainesboro; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Ruby Elizabeth Fox Ward

Ruby Elizabeth Fox Ward, 83, passed away Jan. 26 at Cookeville Regional Medical Center. Funeral services were held Jan. 29 at Anderson-Upper Cumberland Funeral Home with Bro. Jimmy Anderson, Bro. Duane Gossett and Bro. Matthew Scoggins officiating. Interment followed at Pharris Cemetery.

Ruby Elizabeth Fox Ward was born June 14, 1929 in Jackson County. She was a homemaker and a member of the McCoinsville Church of Christ.

She was preceded in death by her parents Albert Lee Fox and Dora Flatt Fox; husband Charlie William Ward; grandchild Robert William Ward; brothers Carl, Aaron and Robert Fox; and  sisters Mary Ann Daniels and three infant sisters.

Surviving relatives include sons Tommy and wife Linda Ward, Wayne and wife Darlene Ward and Roger Ward and his special friend Karen; daughter Virginia and husband Henry Frizzell; grandchildren Crystal and husband Shane Keith, Amanda Stafford, Justin Frank and wife Crystal Ward, Rebecca and husband Jim Wimberly, Elizabeth and husband Joey Phillips, Faith Henshaw, David Frizzell and Cordell Frizzell; great grandchildren Devin and wife Shelby Keith, Seth Keith, Isaiah and Hannah Stafford, Marlie Ward, Caleb and Emma Wimberly and Jeremiah and Abigail Phillips; brothers James and wife Jeanette Fox and Lewis Fox; sisters Lena and husband Jack Moore and Opal Robinson; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Frazier C. Medlin

Frazier C. Medlin, 69, passed away on Jan. 27 at his residence in Cookeville. Funeral services were held Jan. 30 at Anderson-Upper Cumberland Funeral Home with Bro. Jimmy Anderson and Bro. Mike Webb. Interment followed at Pharris Cemetery.

Frazier C. Medlin was born June 24, 1943 in Jackson County. He was a truck driver for a vending company. He also served in the Tennessee National Guard and was a member of the Double Springs Church of Christ.

He was preceded in death by his parents Verble B. Medlin and Gladys Lambert Medlin; one infant brother; paternal grandparents Walter and Rhoda Flatt Medlin; maternal grandparents Henry and Lizzie Lambert; and brother-in-law James David Anderson.

Surviving relatives include his wife Patricia Anderson Medlin; son Gwynn Medlin and Susan Myers; sister Carol and husband Bobby Vinson; nieces Tammy Bilbrey, Trenda Murphy and Tracy Anderson; nephew Jeff Anderson; special cousin Douglas Loftis; and sister-in-law Spring Anderson.
