Betty Carol Walker

Factory Worker

Betty Carol Walker, 64, passed away Oct. 2 at her residence. Funeral services were held Oct. 5 at Hall Funeral Home in Celina with Bro. Jimmy Anderson officiating. Interment followed at Moss Cemetery. Anderson-Upper Cumberland Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

She was born Jan. 1, 1952 in Jackson County. She was a factory worker and a member of the Church of Christ.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Paul and Virginia Meadows; one brother, Paul E. Meadows; two nephews, Brad Whitaker and Andy Meadows; one great niece, Abigail Steward.

Surviving relatives include her husband, Ben Willis Walker of Hendersonville; one brother, Benny (Pat) Meadows of Gainesboro; two sisters, Sue (Fred) Warden of Cookeville and Beverly (Michael) Shrum of Hermitage; one sister-in-law, Kay Meadows of Cookeville; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

There are no words that seem adequate enough to say thank you to everyone who expressed their sympathy during the loss of our beloved Mother – Sylvia Gean Holt. She was a wonderful person and through those memories that she gave each of us. She will live on forever in our hearts.

We want to give a special thank you to Wilma Davis, Ollie Long, Judy Lynn and Mary Dean Cunningham, also to two amazing nurses, Bev Walker and Ms. Scantland.
