Order Of Confederate Rose Meets

Held in conjunction with the Sons of Confederate Veterans during their national reunion, 85 women from 10 states gathered in Memphis to represent their states in the annual meeting of the Order of Confederate Rose.  The reunion this year being hosted by our state, was presided over by Tennessee state president Vonda Dixon, of the Difficult community of Smith County, who is also president of Gainesboro’s Aunt Polly Eaton Williams Chapter #10. An educational program dealt with the Traditions of Tea Time by Caroline Blanks of Greeneville. 21 Tennessee members from across the state attended to champion the organization, learn, fellowship, and enjoy the city of Memphis.
