Ina Flynn

Ina Flynn, 82, passed away Oct. 20 at TriStar Madison in Davidson County. Funeral services were held Oct. 23 at Anderson-Upper Cumberland Funeral Home with Bro. Danny Hall and Bro. Jimmy Anderson officiating. Interment followed at Lynn Cemetery. Anderson-Upper Cumberland Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

She was born July 11, 1935 in Jackson County. She was a homemaker and a member of the Church of Christ.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Clure Scantland and Bertha Scantland; her husband, Major Joe Flynn; two sons, Jerry Michael and Randy Joe Flynn; one daughter, Lisa Gaily Flynn; one sister, Lorene Scantland; three infant brothers.

Surviving relatives include one daughter, Sandra Jean (Johnny) Richardson of Hendersonville; two grandchildren, Amanda Baliel of Smyrna and Travis Richardson of Hendersonville; two great grandchildren, Brandon and Bradley Baliel; special family friend, Brenda Montgomery of Cookeville.

Randy Key

Randy Key, 51, passed away Oct. 18 at his residence. Funeral services were held Oct. 23 at Anderson-Upper Cumberland Funeral Home with Bro. Don Bryant officiating. Interment followed at Pharris Cemetery. Anderson-Upper Cumberland Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

He was born Nov. 4, 1965 in Jackson County. He was a factory worker.

He was preceded in death by his parents, George Lee Key and Bonnie Johnson Key; one sister, Margaret Bryant; one brother, Tony L. Key; maternal grandparents, George Spencer and Nancy Ollie Belle Johnson; paternal grandparents, Elmer D. and Lovie Key.

Surviving relatives include two nieces, Chasity Ann West of Gainesboro and Makenzi Key of Arkansas; one nephew, Jason Brown of Cookeville; five great nephews; one great niece; very special lady that Randy loved like a mother, Helen Bellar of Gainesboro; several aunts, uncles, other relatives and friends.

Danny W. Baker

Business Owner

Danny W. Baker, 70, passed away Oct. 23 at Cookeville Regional Medical Center. The family has chosen cremation with interment of cremains at the National Veterans Cemetery in Sarasota, FL at a later date. Anderson-Upper Cumberland Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

He was born Sept. 20, 1947 in Lebanon, IN. He was a business owner in the construction industry. He was proud to have served his country in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam conflict.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Lloyd and Alma Baker; wife, Nancy Gail Baker.

Surviving relatives include one son, Danny Baker of Sarasota, FL; one brother, Larry Baker of Gainesboro; two grandchildren, Danny Baker and Jaydan Baker.

Becky Young

Becky Young, 61, passed away Oct. 25 at her residence. Funeral services were held Oct. 27 at Anderson-Upper Cumberland Funeral Home with Bro. Jimmy Anderson officiating. Interment followed at Welch Cemetery. Anderson-Upper Cumberland Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

She was born Sept. 5, 1956 in Monterey. She was an LPN.

She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Wilma Chilton; one brother, Ralph Chilton; maternal grandparents, Walter and Pearlie Dickson; paternal grandparents, Fount and Versie Chilton.

Surviving relatives include husband, Manuel D. Young of Cookeville; two sons, Jack Dewayne Toler and Jeremy (Gina) Toler, both of Cookeville; five grandchildren, Brooke Matthews, Keisha Toler, Johnny Toler, J.T. Toler, and Jayden Toler; two great grandchildren, Braxton and Brantley Matthews; five brothers, Ray Chilton, Jimmy Chilton, Chris Chilton, Ernie Chilton, and Mike Chilton; one sister, Jenetta Hunter; nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
