Randall Allen

Factory Worker

Randall Allen, 59, passed away Nov. 13 at Cookeville Regional Medical Center. Funeral services were held Nov. 16 at Anderson-Upper Cumberland Funeral Home with Rev. Shannon Hammock officiating. Interment followed at Turkeytown Cemetery. Anderson-Upper Cumberland Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

He was born Feb. 22, 1958 in Jackson County. He was a factory worker at Nielsen and Bainbridge.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Elmer Loyd Allen and Rue Barlow Allen; one niece, Kaula Allen.

Surviving relatives include his significant other, Robin Warren of Celina; one step-son, Jacob Warren of Newport; one brother, Roger Allen of Gainesboro; one nephew, Cory Allen of Gainesboro; one honorary nephew, Adam Gilpatrick of Hilham; two great nieces; two great nephews; one sister-in-law, Penny Petty of Hilham.

Patsy Smith Scott

Retired

Patsy Smith Scott, 69, passed away Nov. 11 at Livingston Regional Hospital. Funeral services were held Nov. 14 at Anderson-Upper Cumberland Funeral Home with Bro. Kenneth Anderson and Bro. John Mabery officiating. Interment followed at John L. Clark Memorial Cemetery. Anderson-Upper Cumberland Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

She was born Sept. 5, 1948 in Jackson County. She was a retired teacher’s assistant with Foxy Fours. She was a member of the Center Grove Church of Christ.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert T. Smith and Doris Shepherd Smith; her husband, Billy R. Scott; one great nephew, Jaxon Lynn.

Surviving relatives include one son, Gregory Scott of Gainesboro; one brother, Robert T. “Bobby” (Sharon) Smith Jr. of Gainesboro; two nieces, Rebecca (Brandon) Howell and Jessica (Chris) Lynn of Gainesboro; two great nephews, Caleb Howell and Brantley Lynn; two great nieces, Raegan Howell and Kaelyn Lynn; two sisters-in-law, Aline Allen and Frances Luck, both of Gainesboro.

We send our sincere gratitude to our family, friends and neighbors for all acts of kindness shown to us during Jerry’s recent illness. We have been strengthened by your calls, visits, love and especially your prayers during this time.
