Daylight Saving Time Begins Sunday, March 11

Get ready to spring your clock ahead. It’s that time of year when the evenings are getting lighter and we’re thinking ahead to the sunshine and warmth of summer.

Sunrise and sunset will be about one hour later on March 11 than the day before, meaning there will be more light in the evening hours. Daylight Saving Time starts Sun., March 11. It officially starts at 2 a.m. local time, so most people will move their clocks ahead one hour before they go to bed Saturday night.
