Alexia Porterfield has been selected to attend this year’s three-day educational and entertaining event at the Millennium Maxwell House Hotel in Nashville under the Tennessee Electric Cooperative Association. Alexia is the daughter of Gordon and Regina Porterfield of Pleasant Shade. She is an eleventh grade student at Jackson County High School.
Some 46 students from across Tennessee were selected by their schools’ principals, teachers and guidance counselors to attend this Youth Leadership Summit. These exemplary eleventh graders are in good standing relative to grades and conduct, display leadership abilities and reside in service areas of local electric cooperatives.
