Crash Leaves Two In Critical Condition

On Wednesday, a three-car vehicle crash sent two people to the hospital in critical condition. The accident happened on S.R. 56 near Hubert Brown Circle. Two vehicles were traveling north on S.R. 56 and the third was traveling south on S.R. 56.

A 2005 Nissan Sentra driven by Logan Duncan, 18, of Lafayette, was traveling north, when according to reports, he fell asleep behind the wheel. His car crossed the center line and was traveling north in the southbound lane. A 1993 Chevy S-10 pickup driven by Thomas Pryor, 20 of Gainesboro, swerved to avoid a head on collision with Duncan, but then collided with a 1999 Ford Mustang driven by Tommy Hicks 47, of Gainesboro.
