The Lady Blue Devils Win Against Clay County

Keep battling and stay in the game is what Coach Chris Cassetty told his young softball team about playing rival Clay County. The Lady Devils did just that, picking up a 6-5 win.

Clay County got off to an early 2-0 lead in the top of the first inning. The Blue Devils third baseman assisted in a two out, double play to end the Clay scoring drive. In the bottom of the first inning, Grace Clinard connected on a hit to secure a base. Later on in the inning, Grace ran in on a Clay County error. The first inning ended with a slim Clay County lead of 2-1.
