Flooding Hits Jackson County

It started to rain on Tues., June 26 and continued through Wed., June 27. Some of the storms produced torrential rainfall, which caused some major flooding in certain areas of Jackson County.

The monthly average for rain is between four and five inches; Jackson County received twice that amount in just a 24-hour period.
