Allen-Anderson Cemetery Decoration

Allen-Anderson Cemetery Decoration will be Sept. 16, at 2 p.m. Join us for a covered dish lunch at Zion Church of Christ Fellowship Hall prior to gathering at the cemetery.

Dodson Branch School PTO

Dodson Branch School PTO will be hosting a September Spectacular Sale September 15th 2018 from 8am to 4pm at Dodson Branch School. We will have vendors, crafts, baked goods, antiques and yard sale item booths. Shop unique, handmade gifts and gifts for the holiday season.

Fox Cemetery Decoration

The Fox Cemetery on Flatt-Dyer Road in Jackson County Decoration will be held Sun., Sept. 16 at 2 p.m. There will be a short service and financial report given. Donations for the upkeep of the cemetery would be greatly appreciated.

Caregiver Support Group

On Sept. 18, the Upper Cumberland Development District / Area Agency on Aging and Disability (AAAD) will hold its caregiver support group meetings in Cookeville and Livingston. The meetings are for anyone caring for another individual. Cookeville’s meeting will be held at the Upper Cumberland Development District (1225 S. Willow Ave, Cookeville TN 38506) from 10 – 11 a.m. Livingston’s meeting will be held at Millard Oakley Library (107 E Main St, Livingston, TN 38570) from 1 -2 p.m. For more information, please contact Family Caregiver Staff, at (931) 432-4111.

Southern Charm Quilt Show

Nov. 9 through 10, the Cookeville Crazy Quilters guild is sponsoring The Southern Charm Quilt Show to be held at the Jefferson Avenue Church of Christ, 521 S. Jefferson St, Cookeville, TN. Friday 9 a.m. – 5 p.m. Saturday 9 a.m. – 4 p.m. For more information, visit www.CookevilleCrazyQuilters.com.

Jackson County Farm Bureau Annual Meeting

Jackson County Farm Bureau Annual Meeting and dinner will be Saturday, Sept. 29. It will be in the Jackson County Middle School Cafeteria beginning at 6 p.m.

Antique Tractor Pull

Center Grove Community Center

Kids Play Day

There will be a kids play day on Sept. 15, from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. at the Jackson County Fairgrounds. There will be activities for kids of all ages. Concessions will be available.

2018 Mahaney Family Reunion

The Mahaney Family Reunion will be held on Sunday, Sept. 16 at the Jackson County Fairgrounds building. There will be a covered dish dinner about 1 p.m. This year marks the 37th annual reunion of the descendants of the late Jim and Martha (Brown) Mahaney. We look forward to seeing all of the family, bring a covered dish and enjoy the family gathering.

4-H Chick Chain Show And Sale

The 4-H Chick Chain Show & Sale will be Saturday, Sept. 22 at 10 a.m. The sale will immediately follow show. It will be at the Jackson County Farm and Garden in Gainesboro. For more information call the UT Extension office at 931-268-9437. Breeds offered: Dominique and Austra White.
