Week three and our second home game in a row with the Blue Devils hosting Westmoreland. Before the game I had the chance to talk to coach Loftis and I asked him just one question. “With the last two defeats being so one sided how have you been preparing for this game, are you doing anything different?” Coach Loftis was upbeat about his answer. “It is about trying to find where all the pieces fit. We have a young team and are trying new things with them, we have to find the fit.” He did go on to say it was hard for him as well. “I have been reaching out to some of our older and wiser coaches that have been through this [having such a young team] for advice and guidance.” Well what ever Loftis is doing it is showing some fruit, even though we lost 27 to 6, the score does not tell the entire story of the four quarters of fight our boys put up against a superior team.
