After much debate and discussion it was finally decided during the monthly city meeting on Thursday that trick or treating will be moved to Saturday, Oct. 27. This will also coincide with the trunk or treat that will be on the square that same day. Halloween being on a Wednesday this year caused some conflict with some residents in the area who go to church or prayer meeting on Wednesdays. That and the fact that it is a school night.
