On Monday, Oct. 1, at approximately 8:19 a.m., a 1999 Mack Tractor Trailer logging truck driven by Gregory Muse, 51 of Burkesville, Ky., failed to negotiate a right hand curve on York Hwy. This caused the truck and trailer to roll over on its driver’s side, coming to rest on the left side of the roadway, losing his load of logs. After almost three hours the truck, trailer and logs were removed and York Hwy was reopened. Muse was wearing his seatbelt and was uninjured in the accident. He was charged with failure to exercise due care and financial responsibility. The accident was investigated by Trooper Ruben Basaldua.
