Gainesboro Women Sentenced After Crash

A Gainesboro woman, who was reportedly under the influence of several drugs, at the time of a traffic accident that incapacitated herself and a Celina driver, was sentenced in a recent session of Overton County Criminal Court.

Leda Lykins, of Gainesboro who was 52 at the time of the accident, reportedly failed to yield the right-of-way as she was attempting to travel across State Route 111 South from traveling west on State Route 293 East in Overton County on Dec. 7, 2016.
