The Special Investigations Section of the Tennessee Department of Revenue conducted the investigation that led to the indictment and arrest of Johnny F. Stafford Jr., for one count of tax evasion and one count of theft. The Jackson County Sheriff’s Department arrested Stafford, 24. Bond was set at $3,500.
On Nov. 5 the Jackson County Grand Jury indicted Stafford on one felony count of tax evasion and one felony count of theft of property. The indictments allege Stafford evaded tax due to the State of Tennessee by filing false documents.
