Granville Hosts Annual Country Christmas

Historic Granville will host the 19th annual Granville Country Christmas with the theme “Christmas Memories of the 1950’s.” The event will be from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. with a full day of activities. At 9:30 a.m. there will be a dedication of the New Granville History Book entitled “The Legacy of a Rural Riverboat Town” at Granville Museum. At 10 a.m. will be the dedication of a new Madell Reynolds Military Exhibit at the Museum, and at 10:30 the dedication of the Ben Sutton 1953 Chevrolet in front of the Sutton General Store. The last car of Sutton has been restored by his grandchildren Beth and Mike Cochran.
