On Nov. 28 Deputy Kamron Johnston and Deputy Cody Buck responded to a 911 call at 56 Motel in the Bloomington Springs area of Jackson County. Upon arrival the deputies suspected narcotics activity and recognized individuals to have outstanding warrants for their arrest out of Putnam County.
Both individuals attempted to resist arrest and flee from the deputies. They also tried to destroy evidence of their crimes. The deputies were able to take both individuals into custody at which time they located a large amount of methamphetamine, multiple scales used to weigh narcotics, pipes used to smoke methamphetamine and other items used in the distribution of narcotics according to authorities.
