Clay County Pharmacies Raided By DEA

The United States Justice Department took a first of its kind action to stop pharmacies from unlawfully dispensing opioids in Tennessee. Agents were particularly focused on Clay County Xpress Pharmacy and Dale Hollow Pharmacy and raided the two pharmacies on Feb.8.

A report details actions to stop the two pharmacies, their owner and three pharmacists from dispensing controlled substance medications that include powerful opioid medications.
