Suspect Caught On Game Cam

On March 1, Nathan Mabery and Shawn Penley were arrested on multiple felony charges. The investigation began when a citizen in the Flynns Creek area of Jackson County notified the Sheriff’s Office about some thefts occurring on their property. The owner had placed game cameras around the property due to issues with theft. The game camera captured a photo that was turned over to the Sheriff’s Office.

The investigation led to developing Nathan Mabery as a suspect. The investigation culminated in the arrest on March 1 in the Lambert Hollow area of Jackson County. Sheriff Marty Hinson was notified by Tennessee Highway Patrol that they were seeking Mabery on charges of evading a trooper during a traffic stop.
