Twin Lakes has been recognized by NTCA–The Rural Broadband Association as a Certified Gig-Capable Provider for delivering gigabit broadband speeds and enabling technological innovation in their serving areas. At the same time, the areas served by Twin Lakes have been designated a Smart Rural Community by NTCA.
As a Certified Gig-Capable Provider, Twin Lakes joins a national campaign to build awareness and industry recognition of community-based telecom providers that have built communications networks capable of delivering Internet speeds up to one gigabit per second, which is 100 times faster than those currently available in many U.S. households. Smart Rural Community designation is given to telecommunications companies that build broadband networks throughout their service areas and provide technological innovation to the residents and businesses there. NTCA–The Rural Broadband Association is the premier association representing nearly 900 independent, community-based telecommunications companies that drive innovation in rural and small-town America.
