First Responders Training Held

On June 20 and 21 the Tennessee Highway Patrol provided ALERRT – AAIR (AdvanceLaw Enforcement Rapid Response Tactics – Active Attack Integrated Response) training to First Responders from Jackson and Macon Counties.

This was specialized training which would enable Law Enforcement to stop an active attack (Active Shooter) quickly and allow EMS, Rescue and Fire Fighters to enter the scene quickly to save lives. The core of the training was STOP THE KILLING – STOP THE DYING – RAPID CASUALITY EVACUATION.
