J.C. Man Thanks EMS For Saving Life

On March 13, 2019 at approximately 6:30 p.m. Jackson County 911 dispatched Jackson County EMS along with the Gainesboro Police Department to the Pecan Street Church of Christ in Gainesboro for an unresponsive male patient.

Personnel were on scene in less than three minutes. Upon arrival they found a male patient who was unresponsive and pulseless. The patient’s daughter had began CPR prior to EMS arrival. The JCEMS crew and other various responders continued CPR while also beginning to provide Advanced Cardiac Life Support. The patient was defibrillated six times over a 14 minute period before regaining a pulse.
