Flooding Strikes The County Library Again

Once again on Wednesday, June 18, the Library suffered flooding from the torrential rains that we have experienced during the past couple weeks. This flooding of the Library is a recurring problem and in 2018 the damage was so severe that the Library was closed for three months and required replacing the flooring and much of the shelving.

Unfortunately, this closure was during the summer and resulted in the cancellation of the summer reading program which provides reading, activities/crafts and free lunch to the children in the community.
