Tennessee Secretary of State, Tre Hargett, visited the Library last week to present a technology grant to the Library in the amount $550. Senator Paul Bailey and Representative John Mark Windle, who have been very supportive of the library, attended for the presentation of the grant.
The technology grants are provided to Tennessee public libraries for the purchase of computers, software, networking hardware and peripherals for use in the library. This is a 50/50 matching grant, which means that for every grant dollar received, a matching local dollar is required.
