Complaints Lead To An Arrest

On Feb. 17, the Jackson County Sheriff’s Office answered complaints from the community, which led to the seizure of narcotics and firearms.

Detectives Jackie McQuiston and Jimmy Patterson responded to a complaint of suspicious activity in the Brooks Bend area of the county. Upon arrival on Turkey Scratch Road the detectives found four people to be living in a camper in the woods. The detectives identified the individuals and checked to see if they were wanted through the National Database.
