Donald C. Henry
Donald C. Henry, 77, of Ashland City, passed away May 31 at Alive Hospice in Nashville. Funeral services were held June 2 from the chapel of Anderson-Upper Cumberland Funeral Home. Interment followed in the Young Cemetery on Seven Knobs Road in Gainesboro.
He was born May 17, 1943 in Jackson County. He was a dry wall hanger and loved to raise chickens.
He was preceded in death by: parents, Fred and Vera Davidson Henry; daughter, Rachael Henry; brother, Paul Davidson; and sister, Geneva Colwell.
Surviving relatives include: wife, Cora Mae Henry of Ashland City; son, David Henry; daughters, Lisa Durham and Donna Cart; step sons, Terry Wilkes, Oscar Wilkes, Robert Allen and Rodney Allen, all of Ashland City; step daughter, Donna Stevens of Ashland City; brother, Billy Henry; sisters, Dorothy Powers of Mt. Juliet, Thelma Harrington of Gainesboro and Kathy Vandergriff of Mt. Juliet; several grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.
Gary Lee Fetzer
Gary Lee Fetzer, 53, of the Dodson Branch community, passed away June 2 at his sister’s residence. Memorial services were held June 5 at the House of Prayer Revival Center in Rickman with Tyler Smith officiating. The family has chosen cremation.
He was born July 13, 1966 in Wayne County, Ind. He was a truck driver.
He was preceded in death by: parents, Carl Louis Fetzer and Joyce Ann Robbins; and sister, Torri Yvonne.
Surviving relatives include: son, Clayton Carl Fetzer; daughter, Adrienne Marie Fetzer; and sisters, Bonnie Lou Smith and Meichelle Yvonne Knight.
Lloyd C. Jones
Lloyd C. Jones, also known as Grasshopper, 79, passed away June 4 at Centennial Medical Center in Nashville. Funeral services were held June 6 at the chapel of Anderson-Upper Cumberland Funeral Home with Bro. Jimmy Anderson officiating. Interment followed in the Pharris Cemetery.
He was born Jan. 1, 1941. He was a US Army veteran, mason and a member of the 11th St Church of Christ. He drove a bus for MTA in Nashville.
He was preceded in death by: parents, Franklin D. Jones and Bonnie Maie Pippin Jones; and a sister.
Surviving relatives include: wife, Thelma Frances Scott Jones of Nashville; brother, Gary Ted Jones of Cookeville; and other relatives and many friends survive.
