County Responds To COVID-19

Many of you have reached out to me, and I know that there are differing opinions on this topic. We don’t always agree on this issue and that’s ok. We all need to respect those with different views. We are all in this together. I personally will be more diligent about wearing a mask when I’m out and unable to properly social distance, such as events, crowded stores, etc.  Why you might ask?  Well, why not?  If the experts that believe wearing masks help to prevent the spread are correct, then we may just avoid another shutdown or keep a family member from getting sick.  If those that believe masks are ineffective are correct, what have we lost?

The Jackson County Government has ordered 4,000 masks with our new branding logo displayed on them, explorejctn.com. We should receive them on Friday July 10.
