Lost Dog Saved By Deputy Wade

On July 2 Deputy Jesse Wade with the Jackson County Sheriff’s Office was dispatched about a dog that was trapped on a bluff on 56 South just outside of Gainesboro.

Upon arrival Deputy Wade was greeted by several citizens who assisted in rescuing the dog. Items such as ladders and rope were provided by citizens, and Deputy Wade was able to lower the dog to safety where a citizen took the dog for treatment and care until the owner can be found.
