Helen O. Dailey

Helen O. Dailey, 80, of the Burristown Community, passed away Aug. 19 at Cookeville Regional Medical Center. Funeral services were held Aug. 22 at Anderson Upper Cumberland Funeral Home with Bro. Jimmy Anderson and Bro. Kenneth Anderson officiating. Interment followed in the Lynn Cemetery in the Burristown community.

She was born May 27, 1940 in Jackson County. She was a housewife and a member of the Burristown Church of Christ.

She was preceded in death by: parents, Milton Benton Spivey and Evelyn Olene Flynn Spivey; husband, Paul Dailey; son, Paul “David” Dailey; sisters, Sue Buck and Mildred Spivey; and brothers, James, Wayne, Richard, Dale, Bobby and Billy Spivey.

Surviving relatives include: son, Kevin (Shannon) Dailey of Cookeville; sisters, Judy Stacey and Carol Hammock, both of Gainesboro; grandchildren, Delonna (Lee) Lyles, Andy Dailey and Christopher Dailey, all of Cookeville; stepgrandchildren, Krystle (Jimmy) Stafford and Daniel Smith, both of Cookeville; seven great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

Joe Frank Dailey

Joe Frank Dailey, 78, of the Shiloh community, passed away Aug. 17 at his residence. Funeral services were held Aug. 20 at Anderson Upper Cumberland Funeral Home with Rev. Bill Haney officiating. Interment followed in the Pharris Cemetery in the McCoinsville community.

He was born May 2, 1942 in Jackson County. He was an electrician and plumber and a member of the Cummins Mill Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by: parents, Bill Dailey and Gladys Langford Dailey; son, Bobby Dailey; and brother Earl Dailey.

Surviving relatives include: wife, Linda Dailey of Cookeville; son, Billy Dailey of Cookeville; daughter, Donna Martin of Cookeville; sister, Linda Allen of Cookeville; grandchildren, Paige Locke, Dylan Martin, Dalton Martin, Megan Shepard, Ashley Highland and Meleah Montez and 11 great-grandchildren.

Albert Lynn Glosser Jr.

Albert Lynn Glosser Jr., 63, passed away Aug. 15 at Skyline Medical Center. The family has chosen to honor his wishes of cremation and no services are planned at this time.

He was born Aug. 13, 1957 in Peru, Ind. He was a sawmill operator and farmer.

He was preceded in death by: parents, Albert Lynn Glosser, Sr. and Darlene Spann Glosser.

Surviving relatives include: sisters, Daisy G. (Kenneth) Davis of Gainesboro, Lynda G. Gale of Gainesboro and Carlene (Barry) Goolsby of Goodlettsville; ex-wife, Frances M. Glosser of Carthage; and other relatives and many friends.

Pat Lamb

Pat Lamb, 63, of the Shiloh community, passed away Aug. 13 at her residence. The family has chosen cremation with memorial services at a later date.

She was born Dec. 5, 1956 in Monterey. She was a housewife and a Jehovah Witness.

She was preceded in death by: parents, John Humphrey and Lillie Shepard Humphrey; and several sisters and brothers.

Surviving relatives include: husband, Adam Lamb of Cookeville; daughters, Elizabeth J. (Israel) Cuevas of Cookeville, Christine K. (Christian) Peoples of Bartow, Fla. and Kimberly D. (Arturo) Bravo-Rosales of Cookeville; nine grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; sister-in-law, Patricia A. Wilbanks, of Cookeville; and other relatives and friends.

Anderson Upper Cumberland Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Randall Wayne Gaw

Randall Wayne Gaw, 63, of the Rickman community of Overton County, passed away Aug. 12 at Livingston Regional Hospital. Memorial services will be announced at a later date.

He was born March 31, 1957 in Cookeville. He was associated with the Church of Christ.

He was preceded in death by: stepbrother, Jimmy Brown; stepfather, Junior Gaw; father, James McClure; and daughter, Tinisha Wheeler.

Surviving relatives include: ex-wife, Tammy Thurman; ex-wife, Glenda Dunn; sons, Joshua Wayne Gaw and James Randall Gaw of Rickman; daughter, Teia Gaw of Baxter; brother, Crit Gaw of Livingston; step sister, Darlene Carr; other relatives; and Brenda Key, Lynnsy Gaw and Buzzy Gaw.

Jessie Ray Collier

Jessie Ray Collier, better known as “Bubba” 54, of the Flynn’s Lick Community, passed away Aug. 21 at Cookeville Regional Medical Center. The family has chosen cremation with graveside services at a later time at the Collier Family cemetery.

He was born Oct. 2, 1965 in Davidson County. He was a retired truck driver.

He was preceded in death by: mother, Alvelda Nugent Collier; and his grandparents.

Surviving relatives include: son, Josh Ray Collier of Gainesboro; daughters, Mary Louise Durflinger and Heather Sue Wood, both of Gainesboro; father, Claude R. Collier of Red Boiling Springs; step mother, Patricia B. Collier of Red Boiling Springs; half-brothers, Steve Hargrove and Ronnie Hargrove; half-sister, Rica Hargrove and grandchildren, Savanna Lewis and Jaykob Stacey.
