Fall Schedule Of Events In Historic Granville Announced

Historic Granville-Tennessee’s Mayberry Town announced their great fall schedule of events will occur during the month of October. Granville will be celebrating the entire month of October with the Scarecrow, Quilt and Old Time Craftsmen Festival. The theme will be “Magic in Mayberry” as the entire town will be turned into fall decorations as well as 100 real- like characters with some 400-fall scarecrows. The main street of Granville will have new signage on all buildings with each building being a building of the town of Mayberry.

Granville has just received new Mayberry characters hand painted by artist Fallon Hamilton of Lebanon. Hamilton is a native of Kansas City, Mo. where she started painting as a child and received additional training at several different colleges. She has been a full-time career painter since 1995. She has completed a farm mural and additional Mayberry items for Granville.
