Blue Devils Come Up Short

The Jackson County Blue Devils came up just short of a win Friday night against Monterey.

The (4-1) Blue Devils played host to the (3-0) Wildcats.

The Blue Devils won the coin toss and elected to defer to the second half.

The Wildcats started with the ball at their own 28-yard line. A couple of plays later, a big run resulted in a touchdown. The PAT was no good, making the score 0 to 6 Wildcats with 8:33 remaining in the first quarter.
