Ronnie Skipper

Ronnie Skipper, 73, of Bullards Creek Community, passed away Oct. 15 at his residence. Graveside services were held Oct. 19 at the Rob Draper Memorial Cemetery in the Stone community.

He was born April 7, 1947 in Jackson County. He worked as a credit manager in Nashville, served in the U.S. Navy as an avionics mechanic and aircrewman.

He was preceded in death by: parents, Ithel Levi Skipper and Minnie Frances Minchey Skipper.

Surviving relatives include: son, Zach Skipper of Birmingham, Ala.; daughter, Lindsay Rowlett of Manchester; grandchildren, Hannah, Sawyer and Jackson; sister, Patricia Haffner of Columbia; special cousin, Donna Baggett; and other relatives and friends.

Anderson Upper Cumberland Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Randy Stafford

Randy Stafford, 55, of Gainesboro, passed away Oct. 14 at Cookeville Regional Medical Center. Memorial services will be held Oct. 30 at Anderson Upper Cumberland Funeral Home with Bro. Jeff Burton officiating. The family has chosen cremation, with interment in the Campground Cemetery.

He was born Dec. 20, 1964 in Jackson County. He worked as a machine operator.

He was preceded in death by: father, Billy Edward Stafford; paternal grandparents, Jimmy Joe and Lassie Rush Stafford; and maternal grandparents, Wilburt and Jeraldine Richardson.

Surviving relatives include: son, Joshua Randall Stafford of Cookeville; daughters, Lindsay Young of Gainesboro and Sarah (Jason Hines) Stafford of Bloomington Springs; brothers, Steve (Sandy) Stafford of Cookeville and David (Sandy) Stafford of Gainesboro; sister, Lisa (Mike) Oaks of Baxter; mother, Lyndell Stafford of Gainesboro; grandchildren, Jada, Aiden, Daltyn, and Mallorie; and several nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many friends.

Ruth Juanita Dailey

Ruth Juanita Dailey, 80, of the Fairview community, passed away Oct. 13 at Livingston Regional Hospital. Funeral services were held Oct. 16 at Anderson Upper Cumberland Funeral Home with Bro. Jimmy Anderson and Bro. Kenneth Anderson officiating. Interment followed in the John L. Clark Memorial Cemetery.

She was born Aug. 30, 1940 in Jackson County. She was a retired home health aide and a member of the Church of Christ.

She was preceded in death by: parents, Charlie Barlow and Dimple Phipps Barlow; husband, Claude Dailey; sisters, Beatrice Barlow and Rue Allen; brother, Owen Barlow; and great-grandchild, Jaxon Robert Lynn.

Surviving relatives include: daughters, Sandy (Jackie) Lynn of Gainesboro, Sharon (Bobby) Smith of Gainesboro and Shelia (Jason) Hurley of Silver Point; grandchildren, Phillip and Lisa Scott, Becca and Brandon Howell, Jessica Lynn, Ashley Tippit, Lillian, Preston, Austin and Alaina Hurley; and five great -grandchildren.

 

Jewel B. Clark

Jewel B. Clark, 88, of Granville and Baxter, passed away Oct. 5 in Smyrna. Funeral services were held Oct. 8 at Anderson Upper Cumberland Funeral Home with Bro. Johnny Fox officiating. Interment followed in the Granville Cemetery.

She was born Sept. 25, 1932 in Jackson County. She was a housewife and a member of the Baxter Church of Christ.

She was preceded in death by: parents, Jim Brown and Elena Ragland Brown; husband, Loyd Taylor Clark; daughter, Joy Clark; and brother, Earl Brown.

Surviving relatives include: son, Robbie (Bridgett) Taylor Clark of Lascassas; daughter, Sandra (Bill) King of Smyrna; brother, Phillip Brown of Sparta; grandchildren, Tanya (Daniel) Walls, Archie (Hwa Jin) Clark, Matthew Clark, Jennifer (Tracy) Whitt and Tracy (Robert) Deocales; great- grandchildren, Lauren, Owen, Elias, Lance, Kayla, Aubrey, Ava, Jessica, and Madisyn; and special friends: Beverly Johnson of Baxter, Patty Davidson of Bloomington Springs and Geraldine and Carlos Mahan of Baxter.

Patsy Pruett

Patsy Pruett, 78, of Jackson County, passed away Oct. 10 at Cookeville Regional Medical Center. Graveside services were held Oct. 12 at Rob Draper Memorial Cemetery with Bro. Jimmy Anderson officiating.

She was born Aug. 13, 1942 in Jackson County. She was a member of the Church of Christ and retired from Twin Lakes Telephone Coop.

She was preceded in death by: parents, Burt Loftis Pruett, Sr. and Vina Burton Pruett; brothers, Jack Pruett, Henry Pruett and Posey Pruett; sisters, Jessie Louise Denning and Virginia Pharris; and nephews, Tommy Pruett and Bill Pruett.

Surviving relatives include: nephews, Bobby Pharris, Bruce Pruett and Wayne Pruett; nieces, Nancy Pruett, Suzanne York, Sandra Cockerham and Cynthia Leahy; caregiver, Barbara Pryor; special friend, Claude Hamilton; and many great nephews and nieces.

Ernest Edward Wilmoth

Ernest Edward Wilmoth, 67, of Cookeville, passed away Oct. 13 in Cookeville. The family has chosen cremation, with no services at this time.

He was born Nov. 20, 1952 in Detroit, Mich. He was a truck driver and served in the U.S. Army.

He was preceded in death by: parents, Ellison Ardell Wilmoth and Mildred Ellen Bohannon Young; and brother, Paul Sherman Wilmoth.

Surviving relatives include: son, James Edward Wilmoth of N.C.; daughter, Erin Olsen of Colo.; brother, William Wesley Wilmoth of Cookeville; sisters, Bonnie Marie Lyell, Barbara Ann Robbins and Linda Joyce Cleghorn, all of Cookeville; and three grandchildren.
