Harlin J. Wheeler

Harlin J. Wheeler, 82, of Madison, passed away Dec. 12. A celebration of life service was held Dec. 17 at Spring Hill Funeral Home. Interment followed in Historic Spring Hill Cemetery.

He was born March 29, 1938 in Gainesboro. He worked several years as a superintendent in the construction industry and loved working on pickup trucks and cars.

He was preceded in death by: parents, Joe and Lillian Wheeler; and wife, Linda (Story) Wheeler.

Surviving relatives include: daughter, Malissa Campbell and husband, Steve; sons, Harlin “Wayne” Wheeler and companion, Toni Daniels, Chris Wheeler and wife, Erin and Jeffery Bryant Wheeler: sister, Ann McDonald; brothers, Alfred and Claude Wheeler; grandchildren, Kelsey Campbell, Kasey Campbell, Lucas Wayne Wheeler, Ashley Wheeler and Meredith Wheeler; as well as the mother of Ashley and Meredith, Meghan Wheeler and extended family.

The family of Mary Carter would like to acknowledge everyone for all the acts of kindness shown during her illness and passing. Special thanks to all the caregivers that took great care of her and showed her love and compassion. Thanks to all the staff at Mabry Health and Rehab for all the excellent care you gave her over the last year and especially during her last days.

A special thanks to all the staff of Anderson Upper Cumberland Funeral Home for the great service. Thanks to Dan Huffines for your comforting words and to Jason Anderson for going a great job with the congregational singing. Any kindness shown to us was greatly appreciated, especially all the prayers during this difficult time.
