Structure Fire A Total Loss

In the early morning hours of Feb. 20, Jackson County Central Fire Department Crews responded to reports of a structure fire in the area of Liberty Church Rd. Upon arrival crews found a fully involved structure fire that had collapsed into the basement. Crews battled the structure fire in the snow and below freezing temps of 16 degrees.

Crews made a quick knock down on the fire and all personnel cleared the scene safely with no reported injuries. Departments responding were JCCFD, Dodson Branch FD, JCEMS, JCSO, and Upper Cumberland Electric.
