Michael Charles Birdwell
Michael Charles Birdwell, 70, of Baxter, passed away March 20 at Signature Health Care. Funeral services were held March 24 at Anderson Upper Cumberland Funeral Home with Bro. Mike Webb officiating. Interment followed in the Sam Flatt Cemetery on Shepardsville Road.
He was born Aug. 3, 1950 in Detroit, Mich. He was retired from General Motors and enjoyed researching the genealogy of the Birdwell and Huddleston families.
He was preceded in death by: parents, Charles Birdwell and Elise Huddleston Birdwell.
Surviving relatives include: son, Timothy Birdwell of Forrest City, Alaska; brother, Randy (Michelle) Birdwell of Michigan; and several nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and many friends.
Deborah Scott, 64, of the Whites Bend community, passed away March 22 at Cookeville Regional Medical Center. Memorial services will be held April 19 at 1 p.m. at Anderson Upper Cumberland Funeral Home with Bro. Jimmy Anderson officiating. The family has chosen cremation.
She was born May 15, 1956 in Jackson County. She was a factory worker at Crotty and a member of the Assembly of God.
She was preceded in death by: mother, Anna Pearl Smith; son, Barry Pryor; and brothers, Glenn and Ronnie.
Surviving relatives include: daughter, Amy (Erik) Pryor Baxter of Mt. Juliet; brother, David (Diane) Smith of Whitleyville; sister, Brenda Smith of Cookeville; and grandchildren, Devon Pryor, Samantha Pryor and Brianna Pryor.
Sherri Allen, 61, of the Shiloh community, passed away March 21 at Cookeville Regional Medical Center. Funeral services were held March 24 at the Cummins Mill Baptist Church with Bro. Bill Haney officiating. Interment followed in the John Young Cemetery.
She was born Aug. 14, 1959 in Louisiana. She was retired from working in financial aid at TTU and was a member of the Cummins Mill Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by: father, Jesse Edgar Daniels.
Surviving relatives include: husband, Ronnie J. Allen of Cookeville; daughter, Janie Marie Hicks-Harris and husband, Ashly Harris, of Mendenhall, Miss.; sisters, Brenda (Jerry) Hocutt of Florence, Miss. and Darlene (Jim) Baker of Brandon, Miss.; mother: Virgie Daniels of Pearl, Miss.; and several nieces, nephews and friends.
Anderson Upper Cumberland Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
