Traffic Stop Leads To Drug Charges

On April 13 Deputy Dillon Sandlin conducted a traffic stop in the South Grundy Quarles area of Jackson County, which led to heroin and methamphetamine being seized. During the course of the traffic stop Deputy Sandlin, assisted by Deputy Kamron Johnston, discovered narcotics in plain view while talking with the driver. The driver Johnathan Randolph was also found to be driving on a revoked drivers license. During a search of Randolph and his vehicle deputies discovered a substantial amount of methamphetamine, heroin and marijuana.
