Helen Elizabeth West

Helen Elizabeth West, 68, passed away Oct. 2 at Cookeville Regional Medical Center. Memorial services were held Oct. 10 in the Chapel of Anderson Upper Cumberland Funeral Home with Bro. Kelly Stockton officiating.

She was born Dec. 12, 1952 in Jackson County. She was a food service worker.

She was preceded in death by: parents, Dowell West and Blanche Young West; brother, David West; and brother in law, David Maxwell.

Surviving relatives include: sons, Brian Birdwell (Traci) and Brandon Birdwell; daughters, Tracey Way (Danny) and Tonya Kinnaird (Brian); brothers, Robert (Carolyn) and Alvin (Nancy) West both of Bloomington Springs and James (Penny) West of Baxter; sisters, Judy (Doug) Vandiver and Linda Maxwell both of Bloomington Springs and Polly West of Baxter; grandchildren, Cayla Birdwell, Jessey Casey, Sheldon Birdwell, Angelina Birdwell, Aaron Roberts, Elea Roberts, Eric Roberts, Taylor Phillips, Elizabeth Casey, Braiden Birdwell, Bradley Birdwell, Hunter Birdwell, Justin Kinnaird and Keisha Kinnaird; great grandchildren, Isaac Roberts, Levi Kinnaird, Luna Steel, Soul Steel, Katana Steel, Khiale Steel, Damion Kinnaird, Isaac Pranee, Ezra Casey, Anistyn Casey, Elijah Phillips, Isaiah Phillips, Layla Phillips, Jeremiah Phillips and Adrian Pearson; and other relatives and many friends.

Lola Willene

Robinson Heady

Lola Willene Robinson Heady, 86, of Gainesboro, passed away Oct. 2 at her sons residence in Sparta. Funeral services were held Oct. 5 in the Chapel of Anderson Upper Cumberland Funeral Home with Bro. Randy Bybee officiating. Interment followed in the Hensley Cemetery in the Freewill community.

She was born March 1, 1935. She was a retired factory worker and a member of the Center Grove Church of Christ.

She was preceded in death by: parents, Lonnie Russell Robinson and Lewis Frances Chaffin Robinson; brothers, Willard Robinson, Oscar Robinson, Larry Robinson and Hollis Robinson; and sister, Emogene Mayberry.

Surviving relatives include: husband, Fred Heady of Gainesboro; son, Terry (Rhonda) Robinson of Sparta; brother, C D (Janice) Robinson of Cookeville; grandchildren, Jared Davis, Cody Robinson and Jordan Davis; and great grandchildren, Robert Paxton Davis and Paisley Stamps.

Mary Jo Tollison

Mary Jo Tollison, 64, of Cookeville, passed away Oct. 5 at Cookeville Regional Medical Center. Funeral services were held Oct. 12 in the Chapel of Anderson Upper Cumberland Funeral Home. Interment followed in the John L. Clark Memorial Cemetery.

She was born Feb. 2, 1957 in Detroit, Mich. She was a factory worker.

She was preceded in death by: parents, Hubert Hamlet and Fannie Earlene Davidson Hamlet; husbands, Kenny Nash of Baxter and Ross Tollison of Sparta; and sister, Judy Cook.

Surviving relatives include: sons, Bill Edmond Kinnard of Smyrna and Daniel Hubert Kinnard of Lietchfield, Ky.; step children, John Ross Tollison and Mary Theresa Tollison, both of Sparta; brother, Joe Hamlet of Cookeville; sisters, Janice Ashburn of Gainesboro and Fran Kemp of Cookeville; and grandchildren, Choloe Marie Tollison, Lindsey Nicole Kinnard, Baylee Lane, Addison Lane and Pasley Lane.

Anderson Upper Cumberland Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
