Imogene Dillon

Imogene Dillon, 93, of the Dodson Branch community, passed away March 24 at her residence. Funeral services were held March 28 at Anderson Upper Cumberland Funeral Home with Bro. Ronnie Dunn and Bro. Clayton Lee officiating. Interment followed in the Dodson Branch Cemetery.

She was born March 23, 1929 in Dayton, Ohio. She worked as a retail sales manager at K-Mart in Dayton, Ohio.. She was a member of the Dodson Branch Freewill Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by: parents, Norman C. Mayberry and Emma Rector Mayberry; husband, Jr. Dillon; brothers, Harold, Gerald, Dolphus, Doug and Garry Mayberry; and sisters, Arlene Ward, Mary Helen Kemplen and Norma Eder.

Surviving relatives include: son, Jim Dillon of Cookeville; and sisters, Barbara Method of Cookeville, Wanda Stamm of Dayton, Ohio, Judy (Bobby) Lee of Cookeville and Dorothy (Mike) Knight of Cookeville.

Anderson Upper Cumberland Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

 

Marty L. Young

Marty L. Young, 56, of Crossville, passed away March 22. Funeral services were held March 26 in the chapel of Anderson Upper Cumberland Funeral Home with Bro. Jeff Edde officiating.

He was born July 15, 1965 in Gainesboro. He was a seasonal farmer and also factory worker. Eventually be became a professional landscaper.

He was preceded in death by: parents, Hubert and Bonnie; siblings, Marcel and Arlene; and son, Daniel.

Surviving relatives include: wife, Janice; sons, Wesley and Jason; grandchildren, Kylie, Jordyn, Abigail, Jeremy, Jacob, Jesse, Arielle and Haylee; and great grandson, Emmet.

Anderson Upper Cumberland Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

 

Betty Jo Bilbrey Bowman

Betty Jo Bilbrey Bowman, 80, of Gainesboro, passed away March 19 at Mabry Healthcare and Rehab. Graveside services were held March 21 at the Bowman Family Cemetery with Bro. Jimmy Anderson officiating.

She was born March 13, 1942 in Jackson County. She was a member of the Davidson Chapel Church of Christ and a housewife.

She was preceded in death by: parents, Dewey Bilbrey and Inez Sink Bilbrey; husband, Bobby Bowman; brothers, Ed Bilbrey, Johnny Bilbrey and Richard Bilbrey; and sisters, Wanda Bilbrey and Justine Wise.

Surviving relatives include: son, Tyrone (Toni) Bowman of Gainesboro; daughter, Tammy (Doug) Dycus of Gainesboro; brothers, Doug Bilbrey, Hershal Bilbrey, George Bilbrey and Calvin Bilbrey, all of Rickman; grandchildren, Candice Herren, Dustin Dycus, Uriah Bowman, Zachary Bowman, Mallory Bowman and Garrett Bowman; and six great grandchildren.

Anderson Upper Cumberland Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
