Gainesboro Square To Host Memorial Day Program

American Legion Post 129 will host a Memorial Day program on Sunday, May 25, at 2 p.m. in Gainesboro Square, offering the community an opportunity to honor and remember those who have died in service to the nation.

The event, themed "Memorial Day 2025: A call to Honor, Reflect and Connect," will feature guest speaker Senator Paul Bailey. The program aims to provide a space for residents to reflect on the sacrifices made by fallen service members and to connect with the meaning of Memorial Day.
