NOTICE TO CREDITORS
ESTATE OF: Layton Robert Berk
Notice is hereby given that on the 25th day of July 2024, Letter of Testamentary, in respect to the estate of Layton Robert Berk., deceased, who died May 4th, 2024, were issued to the undersigned by the Probate Court of Jackson County, Tennessee.
All persons, resident and non-resident, having claims, matured or unmatured, against the estate are required to file same with the Clerk of the above named Court at the Jackson County Court House, P.O. Box 342, Gainesboro, TN 38562 within the earlier of four (4) months from the date of the first publication of this notice, or twelve (12) months from the decedent’s date of death, otherwise their claims will be forever barred.

It appearing from the petition in this case, which is shown to, that the heirs fo James A. Bain, reside in state and/or their residence is unknown and that service of process by personal service by the Sheriff’s Office was not an option. It is ordered that publication be made for four (4) consecutive weeks in the Jackson County Sentinel, a newspaper published at Gainesboro, Tn, in Jackson County, Tennessee, requiring the said Respondent to answer and make defense to petition filed in the above cause.
It appearing from the bill in this case, which is shown to, that heirs of James A. Bain, either reside out of the State or reside in state and a residence is unknown and that service of process could not be obtained. It is ordered that publication be made for four consecutive weeks in Jackson County Sentinel, a newspaper published at Gainesboro, Tn. in Jackson County Tennessee requiring the said Defendants to answer and make defense to this bill filed in the above cause, which seeks interpleader of funds paid into court.
